This magical Monique Lhuillier Valentina gown made me feel like a goddess on my wedding day. I wanted a dress that I could move freely in and not worry about dragging a long train, and this was perfect. Because there is an illusion neckline, I didn't have to fuss with constantly pulling up a strapless dress! You can wear virtually any undergarments, as the dress simply zips up the back. I added a Carolina Herrera Belt to the dress to add more of a waistline. The belt was an extra 2k on the dress. I ended up spending more than the retail price listed becase of the designer belt added. Right now the dress has been saftely stored and preserved with the hand sewn silk veil made in Italy. I would consider selling that with the dress if the buyer wanted it otherwise I will remove it from the preserved box prior to shipping.
This design was part of the Fall 2014 collection and was featured in the 2014 campaign. The undermost layer is silk with a layer of delicate chantilly lace throughout the bodice and train. The top layer is an intricate, hand-sewn pattern of white beading with trellis embroidery. It gives the gown amazing texture and depth and made me fall in love with the gown.
